Amphoteric Surfactants

Harcros Foamer HS is cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, which belongs to the class of amphoteric surfactants and is manufactured with Harcros' patented technology. It is used in a variety of applications, including the formulation of drilling foam bases, foam flooding, and gas well unloading. This product has a low pour point and a high flash point, making it an excellent surfactant choice across a broad range of uses. This product has excellent brine tolerance, and the foams produced tolerate both condensate and high temperatures well. Excellent foam production and half-life are seen in both fresh water and NACE brine. Foam production may be enhanced with the addition of a carefully chosen cosolvent in small quantities.

T-Soft® C-30 is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant synthesized from hydrogenated coconut oil that can be used in industrial and personal care applications. It provides mild cleansing and excellent viscosity building in anionic based systems. T-Soft® C-30 provides wetting, effective lime-soap dispersing and viscosity building properties. It can serve as a primary or secondary surfactant providing foam boosting properties.

Cola®Lux MO is an amine oxide-based zwitterionic surfactant with a C14 (tetradecyl) alkyl tail. It is used as a foam stabilizer and hair conditioning agent in shampoos and conditioners.

H Care® 2CM-40CG is a salt-free, methanol-free amphoteric surfactant with mild characteristics that are useful in a variety of formulations. It is used to couple conditioning agents into cleaners such as shampoos and body washes, and provides high foam for body washes, baby shampoos, and other mild personal care products. It also has the potential to reduce irritation in other surfactants used in the formulation.

Macat® AO-12-2 is a 30% active solution of dihydroxyethyl cocamine oxide in water. It provides viscosity control and serves as an outstanding foam booster and foam stabilizer.

Masoteric® C-2SF is a 38% active solution of disodium coco imadozoline dicarboxylate surfactant in water. C-2SF is a salt-free, multi-functional amphoteric surfactant known for its hydrolytic stability, detergency, and its capability to couple nonionic surfactants into strong electrolyte solutions.

Macat® Ultra CDO is a 30% active solution of coco (C12) amidopropyl dimethylamine oxide in water. It functions as an effective wetting agent, outstanding foam booster, grease cutter, and low pH thickener.

T-Soft® CB-35 is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant derived from C8-C18 Triglyceride that can be used in industrial and personal care applications. It provides mild cleansing and excellent viscosity building in anionic based systems. T-Soft® CB-35 provides wetting, effective lime-soap dispersing and viscosity building properties. It can serve as a primary or secondary surfactant providing foam boosting properties.

Caltaine® C-35 is a 35% solids cocamidopropyl betaine surfactant in water, characterized by its mildness and high foaming properties. It enhances foam stability and viscosity, making it suitable for personal care and HI&I applications.

H Care® COAB-45 MB is a highly active cocamidopropyl betaine derived from triglyceride oil. Available in liquid form, H Care® COAB-45 MB is commonly used in applications such as hard surface cleaners, liquid dishwash, car wash products, and hand soap.

Cola®Teric 2C is a coco imidazoline-derived dicarboxylic acid amphoteric. It is one of the mildest amphoteric surfactants in its class, providing a moderate lather and cleansing without removing dermal lipids from the skin, resulting in a rich conditioning effect. Stable over a wide pH range, it is useful for institutional cleaners and may be used as the sole surfactant in commercial products such as moist wipes.

H Soft® C2SF is a versatile 40% salt-free disodium coco alkyl imidazoline dipropionate amphoteric surfactant. It offers multi-functional properties such as mild detergency, lime soap dispersing, and excellent hydrotroping capabilities. Compatible with anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants, H Soft® C2SF is particularly suitable for Household, Institutional, and Industrial (HI&I) formulations needing a hydrotrope to maintain stability.

Caloxamine® LO is a surfactant solution containing lauryl dimethylamine oxide in water. It serves as a foam booster, grease cutter, and coupler in both personal care and HI&I applications.

Macat® Ultra LMDO is a 30% active lauryl (C12) amidopropyl dimethylamine oxide in water, functioning as an effective wetting agent, outstanding foam booster, grease cutter, and low pH thickener for use across various markets and applications.

Cola®Teric CBS-HP is a glycerin-free amphoteric surfactant with outstanding surface activity and compatibility. It works well with cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants, maintaining stability over a broad pH range. In industrial applications, it remains stable in various conditions and disperses lime soap excellently.
