Compatibility Data

Aristonate® L is compatible with a wide range of solvents, secondary emulsifiers, coupling agents, bactericides, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors.

Product Applications
  • Emulsification and Dispersion: Aristonate® L provides excellent emulsification and dispersion properties in cutting oils, surface coating, pigment wetting and spindle oil applications. Aristonate® L also imparts excellent emulsification characteristics for oil in water, water-in-oil, and solids in oil formulations.
  • Textile Oils: Aristonate® L is the emulsifier of choice for oil into water and water into oil for the formation of high water based lubricants and specialty oils for the textile industry. Formulations based on Aristonate® L impart maximum lubricity and heat dissipation to metal parts where high speed contact with fibers creates heat buildup and wear.
  • High Water Based Fluids: Aristonate® L has the optimum balance of hydrophilic and lipophilic properties for the formulation of low oil, high water based fluids such as grinding oils or parts cleaners.
