  • Approved for use in adhesives and components of coatings (21 CFR 175), paper and paperboard components (21 CFR 176), and polymers (21 CFR 177).
  • Approved for use in industrial modified starch (21 CFR 178.3520).
  • Potable Water Treatment: Conforms to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 60. Used for corrosion and scale control; Maximum use level 27 mg/L.
  • Phosphoric acid is allowed as an ingredient in or on processed products labelled as “organic” or “made with organic (specified ingredients or food groups(s))” in accordance with all restrictions under 7CFR205.605
