Mason® CS-445 is a cationic surfactant that can be used in various products including HI&I deodorizers and cleaners, oil and gas applications and personal care formulations. Mason® CS-445 can be used an emulsifier in degreasers, pine oil and d-Limonene cleaners, and an anti-stat in vehicle cleaners. Mason® CS-445 can be used as a deodorizer to remediate mildew odor in textiles, and as a general odor control agent in formulated sanitation products. Mason® CS-445 is also useful in increasing the cloud point of cationic/nonionic cleaning formulations while enhancing oil/lipid solubilizing performance. Oil field applications include corrosion inhibitors and clay stabilizers. Mason® CS-445 can be used as antistatic and hair conditioning agent in personal care cleansing formulations.

Store in tightly closed container. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Avoid excessive heat. Recommended storage temperatures above 41°F. Mason® CS-445 is not damaged by freezing. If material becomes frozen it should be heated gently and stirred to ensure it is homogeneous before use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and observe good industrial hygiene practices. Material is slippery on wet and hard surfaces.
