Maquat® SL-5

With its unique conditioning and anionic compatible foaming performance, formulators can add Maquat® SL-5 directly into hand soaps, body washes and shampoos for state-of-the-art conditioning and silky skin feel as a silicone replacement.

Maquat® SL-5 imparts excellent substantive, lubricating, detangling, ant-static and anionic compatible foaming properties when used in formulations. Maquat® SL-5 can be used in a variety of personal care products such as 2- in-1 shampoos, restorative conditioners, conditioning hair color, crèmes, and lotions. Maquat® SL-5 is an ideal surfactant for use in hair conditioners and rinses, skin crèmes and lotions. Maquat® SL-5 imparts non-greasy detangling, improves dry comb, and fly away, while building volume and sheen, especially with colored, permed, sun dried and damaged hair. Maquat® SL-5 can also be used as a cationic emulsifier, and as an anti-static and softening agent in crèmes, lotions, and other personal care products.

Maquat® SL-5 is available in 450 lb. poly drums.

Store in a tightly closed container. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Recommended storage temperatures are above 32°F. Product is not harmed if frozen. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and observe good industrial hygiene practices.
