H-Sil® SQ is a proprietary cationic polymer made from natural oils and reactive silanes. This product is an excellent repellant for water- and oil-based soils and stains. Its applications include window cleaners, hard surface protectants, wood, stone, masonry, and almost any other hard or porous surface. This product is an excellent final rinse polymer for automatic car washes. It is highly hydrophobic, repels water (it beads up), and has a glossy, slick finish. Prototype formulas are available.

Storage & Handling Information
  • Store at room temperatures; tightly reseal drums after use.
  • Do not store in direct sunlight or in freezing temperatures.
  • H-Sil® SQ is a film former and reacts with oxygen in the air.
  • Care should be taken to seal part drums tightly.
  • Soft polymer particulate may form on the exposed fluid surface or walls in the headspace of the drums and disperse in the bulk liquid during movement and fluid transfer.
  • This particulate can be filtered out or dissolved by heating to approximately 62°C (145°F) with subsequent agitation.
  • The particulate will not occur at most end product use levels. Should be used within 12 months of delivery.
