Calimulse® SLS is an excellent emulsifier and detergent and can be blended with nonionic surfactants to create high performance acrylic emulsions. Neither bleach nor formaldehyde are used in the making of Calimulse® SLS.

Calimulse® SLS is an ideal surfactant choice for emulsion polymerization applications. Calimulse® SLS can be used in the manufacture of a range of emulsion polymers including styrene acrylics and fine particle size acrylics. Calimulse® SLS is particularly suitable for use in vinyl chloride and styrene butadiene emulsions.

Store product at temperatures between 61 and 100oF; avoid excessive heat. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Employ normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) when handling Calimulse® SLS. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not get in eyes, avoid skin and clothing contact. Spilled material is slippery on wet and hard surfaces.
