Calamide® MC is a white to off-white, 1:1 coconut monoethanolamide flake. It is a low free amine product and a substitute for diethanolamides. Calamide® MC builds viscosity in a range of detergent systems and also serves as a foam stabilizer.

Storage and Handling Information

Do not store in presence of strong oxidizing agents. Keep container closed when not in use to prevent moisture collection in the headspace. Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not get in eyes. Avoid skin and clothing contact.
