Glycol Ether DB is a high boiling, slow evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether. It is an outstanding solvent & coupling agent. It has an alcohol component to dissolve water soluble soil & an ether component to dissolve oil soluble soils. It acts by itself or in combination with surfactants to lower the surface tension of cleaning solutions.
